What is a B-Stock item?
A B-Stock item, also known as a "factory second", is a perfectly good and functional product, yet has superficial flaws and, or damage (e.g. scratch & dent).
In most instances, Silver Botanicals' B-Stock items have a poorly affixed / crooked / bubbled / crinkled / flawed label and, or minor dents along the body of the bottle.
Yet, all functional parts, i.e. caps, sprayers, pumps, seals, etc. will be in working order. Furthermore, all B-Stock purchases are guaranteed to be:
- Not expired / beyond their 'best by' date
- The formula within will be identical to A-Stock items
- Flaws and, or damage will not be excessive to the extent of dysfunction. e.g. a dented bottle does not stand stable when upright
- Not a previously owned, used or returned item
- Eligible for the usual return & refund terms, with exception to said B-Stock defects
Are B-Stock items always available for purchase?
No. B-Stock items are only available when in stock.
Naturally, our aim is to produce products without any flaws. Therefore, we keep B-Stock to a minimum.
That said, there is always some guarantee of B-Stock items being produced in the course of manufacturing. Which means if you don't see any B-Stock items of interest today, please check back.
