Castor Oil

Castor oil is pressed from the seeds of the castor plant (Ricinus communis), which is believed to have originated in northeastern Africa and has been cultivated for more than 4,000 years. Historically, ancient Egyptians, Indians, and other civilizations used castor oil in personal care, lamp fuel, and traditional botanical preparations, making it one of the world's oldest cultivated plant oils.
