Elemi Essential Oil

Elemi essential oil is steam distilled from the aromatic resin of the elemi tree (Canarium luzonicum), a tropical tree native to the Philippines that has been harvested for centuries. Historically, elemi resin was valued in Southeast Asia and later in Europe for use in incense, varnishes, perfumes, and traditional botanical preparations because of its distinctive fragrance.
