Vanilla Extract

Vanilla extract is derived from the cured pods of the vanilla orchid (Vanilla planifolia), a tropical orchid native to Mexico that has been cultivated and treasured for centuries. Historically, the Totonac people of Mexico were among the first known cultivators of vanilla, and the Aztecs later valued it as a prized aromatic ingredient used in beverages and ceremonial preparations. Today, vanilla planifolia fruit extract is used in all-natural soaps, lotions, creams, perfumes, and botanical skin care products, where it is appreciated for its warm, sweet aroma and rich botanical heritage.
